Check out the lessons in Teach Happier this School Year:
Objective: Students will be able to prioritize what makes them happy and plan time and space for those activities.
Procedure:
1. Explain to students how happiness is a discipline and how we can impact or influence how happy our lives are.
2. Model your top 10 list and have students create one of their own.
3. Model choosing one things from your list and creating a pipe cleaner object. Students will then do the same.
4. Explain that you will a place to hang your pipe cleaner somewhere you will see it often and encourage students to do the same.
5. Later, have a follow-up conversation about the positive impact creating time and space for this activity has created in your life and your students lives.
